Treasurer’s Report for Calendar Year 2006
There were no unexpected expenditures in 2006. No dues are outstanding. Income from dues for three quarters (first quarter was waived), plus interest from bank CD, exceeded expenses by approximately $1,000, which was added to reserves totaling $23,000 at year end. A detailed report is available and attached to the AGM minutes.
A budget for 2007 has been prepared. This is based on 2006 expenses plus an assumed inflation of 5%, plus a ‘wild guess’ 25% insurance increase resulting from a revised valuation. Income from four quarters plus interest is projected to exceed expenses, excluding capital improvements, by $1,700, which would result in reserves of $24,850 at year end.
