ANNUAL MEETING
January 27, 2009

The annual meeting of the Wekiva Golf Villas Homeowners’ Association took place on January 27, 2009, at the West Branch of the Seminole County Library, 245 N. Hunt Club Boulevard, Longwood, Florida.

John Ewseychik, president of the association, called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.  The combination of owners present and proxies received was 13, and a quorum was declared.

Greg Clifford read the minutes from the 2008 Annual Meeting on February 19, 2008.  Dan Kon moved that the minutes be approved as read.  Elaine Curran seconded the motion, which was approved unanimously.

John Ewseychik presented the President’s Report and introduces Jim Olson from the association’s attorney’s office.  John Ewseychik recaps recent difficulties with bill collection and states that this will now be handled by the attorneys for the association.

John Carter presented the Treasurer’s Report, which is attached.

There is a question to John Carter about what would be the effect of switching the WGVHA invoicing to annual instead of quarterly.  John Ewseychik points out this would require amendment of our covenants; Jim Olson concurs.

The next order of business was election of the two open positions on the board of directors for three-year terms beginning in 2009.  Candidates on the ballot are Elaine Curran and Andy Williams.  John Ewseychik requested nominations from the floor.  There being none, Greg Clifford tallied the ballots and proxies, and reported that Elaine and Andy had been elected by unanimous vote.

John Carter notes that this is John Ewseychik’s last official act as president since his term ends tonight.  Thanks to John Ewseychik for a job well done.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:43 pm.
